GT Series sets

Triopo GT-3128x8C and GT-3230x8C kits are ultralight photographic tripods made of carbon fibers.

The sets include:

• GT-3128x8C / GT-3230x8C tripod made of carbon fibers;
• NB-1S (GT-3128x8C) / B-2 (GT-3230x8C) Ball-Head;
• Textile case with a zipper;
• Textile case for tripod head;
• Short macro column (GT-3230x8C);
• Allen key.

Both described sets belong to the Traveller™ group of tripods. This means that their legs move in 180° range to allow you reduce the tripod's size by the length of the mounted head and protruding central column for transportation purposes.

Tripods are made of x8C – a new generation material that is ultralight, solid and gives the maximum load capacity of 15 kg. Legs length is adjusted with TLM® rings. Each section is separated by a sealing flange to prevent sand, dust and dampness from entering inside. They are perfect for travelling photographers and photo reporters. Thickness of the GT tripod's legs wall has been reduced to 0.9 mm. Feet of both tripods are equipped with retractable, chromed spikes that are indispensable for slimy grounds.

To increase the comfort of use, one of the tripod legs has been fitted with a wide handle made of insulating, anti-slip and impermeable foam. But GT Series brings yet another invaluable advantage of transforming your tripod into a monopod in less than 1 minute by unscrewing one of its legs (not applicable for a GT-3128x8C model). Legs move in a range of 180° and can be locked in three different positions.

Ultralight x8C

Smoothly adjustable central column is locked with an ergonomic TLM® clamping ring. Leg hinges resistance can be regulated with an included Allen key. In addition, lower part of the column has a spring-loaded hook for hanging additional load to stabilize the tripod. The column's design is unique, so that you could mount it conversely and set the tripod as close to the ground as possible.

GT-3128x8C model is sold with a NB-1S head, while GT-3230 comes with a B-2 head. Both heads are fitted with Acra-Swiss mount, preventing against uncontrollable plate release, panoramic base with the rotation scale, double level and two independent locking knobs. B-2 model comes with an additional, third knob to regulate the ball-head resistance and panning, which is invaluable solution for heavier sets. All above listed heads feature 3/8" tripod thread and 1/4" thread for gear mounting.
